Apple Bud Vase

$30.00

Small Apple Bud Vase produced locally by Dave Traynor as part of a wood turning collection. The apple wood comes from our orchard. Dimensions are 4 1/2” high and 2 3/4” wide.

From the Artist Directly on Wood Turned Pieces: “My pieces are one of a kind. They are not production pieces one would usually see at a craft market. Every piece was hand-picked, specifically cut and rough turned to maximize the beauty of the wood, naturally dried for about a year, then turned to its final shape and finish. Each piece has a minimum of 4 coats of a hand rubbed shellac finish, a natural finish made from the lac bug which brings out the beauty in the wood. Many, many hours are put into each piece. I hope you enjoy.” Dave Traynor, DVM
